Blake Lively played it very cool last night at the Chanel Bijoux de Diamant 80th Anniversary party in New York City. The actress, who recently surprised married Ryan Reynolds, had her hands in her pockets for most of the red carpet pics, making it seem like she was trying to avoid the inevitable ‘ring’ picture.
Of course then she had to fix her hair, which meant that her left hand had to linger around her face just long enough for the paps to get some really good shots of it. I admire her subtlety. She did give us quite the look at her gorgeous ring though, and it is a stunner! Good God that thing is huge! And it looks like it has a diamond band too. The roughly 12 carat ring (omg) was the only jewellery Blake wore to the event and really, it’s all she needed.
I have to admit that I think I prefer Blake’s ring to Jennifer Aniston’s huge rock. Somehow it doesn’t look like it’s trying so hard on Blake’s hand (which it totally is, it just doesn’t look that way) than it does on Jen.
