Well it’s official – with only 2 days left in 2011 Russell Brand has filed for divorce from Katy Perry, ending speculation that there was trouble in paradise.
I just posted this morning that Russell was spotted out without his wedding ring after reports of a massive fight with Perry just before Christmas, and now it seems like that fight was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
According to The Associated Press Brand released a statement saying;
“Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends,”
Too bad – they made a cute couple. I wonder how long it will be before one of them starts slinging mud, because it just seems to me like this is going to get messy.
