Focus Features released the trailer for their upcoming Matt Damon movie ‘Promised Land’ today and it looks like it’s going to be a good one. The script was co-written by John Krasinski who also stars in the film. From what I can tell Damon and Frances McDormand star as two Natural Gas company employees who’s job it is to get farm owners to allow the gas pipeline to run through their fields. Krasinski seems to be the one worried about the environmental impact of the pipeline and tries to stop Damon and McDormand from taking over his small town. It has a bit of an Erin Brockovitch feel to me – except without Julia Roberts boobs. Check it out.
