Have you seen Magic Mike yet? I think I need to go see it again, just to fully appreciate Channing Tatum’s ass in the first scene. And his dancing, and the way he eye f*cks the camera the entire movie. As I wrote before, Magic Mike is all about adjusting your expectations. Because the rest of the movie – if you were paying attention – wasn’t very good. But the Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey parts – amazing.
And if you remember I said that Alex Pettyfer, who plays ‘The Kid’ in the film, was the worst part of the movie. Seems like I’m not the only one who thought that either. Rumour has it that Channing couldn’t stand Alex on set because he was acting like a punk ass diva the entire time. Channing apparently cut a lot of Alex out of the movie as payback – because Channing was also a producer on the movie. Which, I’m just saying, might be why the actual ‘storyline’ of the movie sucked so much.
Alex has a history of being difficult on set too, while Channing has a rep for being nothing but professional and kind. Rumour has it he even sends thank you cards after interviews.
Here’s the very hot Channing Tatum signing autographs outside the ITV Studios in London today where he’s promoting the movie and preparing for tonight’s UK Premiere. Which means more red carpet pics tomorrow. Nice.
