I had no idea this movie was even being made but after seeing the trailer today for Pitch Perfect, starring Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow I can’t wait for it to hit theatres!
Pitch Perfect is basically Glee! but on the big screen, and a bit more bad ass. It’s basically the show choir version of Bring It On/Stomp The Yard/Step Up which means that I am guaranteed to love it. Because we all know that if you make a movie with any combination of show choirs, cheerleaders, teenagers and vampires, I’m in. There’s no vampires here but in fairness Kendrick did star in Twilight.
Rebel Wilson, who was hilarious in ‘Bridesmaids’ looks to be quite the scene stealer in this movie as ‘Fat Amy’. My fave line – ‘You call yourself Fat Amy?‘ ‘Yeah, so two bitches like you don’t do it behind my back‘. Priceless. Also they sing ‘No Diggity’ in a ‘riff’ off that looks like something out of every late 80′s music video I’ve seen, how can you not like this movie?
