I have this thing against brown suits. Ask my husband – I won’t let him buy one. To me suits need to be either black or charcoal or maybe navy. Let it be known that I actually hate brown suits. And even if they’re really well made, no one can pull off a brown suit well. I mean, if Justin Timberlake couldn’t do it I have no clue what was going through Dax Shepard’s head when he thought that this was a good look for his movie premiere last night.
This is what Dax wore as she showed up for the LA premiere of his movie Hit And Run that he not only wrote and directed but he starred in. First let’s talk fit and the fact that the jacket is just too small. Then there’s the fact that he looks like he just rolled out of bed. Seriously – he’s premiering a movie that HE STARRED IN – surely he can afford a suit that won’t wrinkle like that?! Then there’s the really bad shirt and tie. Does this man not have a stylist? Is this supposed to be part of his ‘appeal.’ His fiancée and co-star, Kristen Bell looked lovely and appropriate in a great Jenny Packham black jumpsuit and he shows up looking like this? I don’t get it.
Am I alone here on my disdain for brown suits? Honestly there is nothing hotter than a man in a well made dark suit, but I get they can look a bit formal. If Dax wanted to look a bit more casual but still red carpet ready he could have opted for a great dark pant with a crisp white shirt and no tie. Or gone casual but chic in a great pair of jeans with great shirt. This look just looks budget to me. Thoughts?

Terrible, terrible, terrible! What is up with Kristen Bell not giving him a hand? Doesn’t she know that he is a reflection of her? In my opinion this is on her, it’s a rare man who can pull it together without a little help from his girl.

I love Dax, but I agree, that suit is HORRIBLE!!
