Matthew Perry spoke at a conference today about the dangers of prescription drug abuse in America. If you’ll remember Matthew became addicted to Vicodin in 2001 after a bout with pancreatitis and a bad battle with the bottle. He’s had a rocky road professionally since with two really great shows being cancelled (I am still mad about Studio 60 – I loved that show) and a few movie roles. I did love 17 Again, although that might be more a result of my totally inappropriate cougar crush on Zac Efron than on Chandler Bing, but whatever.
My husband and I have been watching a lot of Friends reruns lately and I have to tell you I miss that show. That was one funny show. It reminds me how much I miss Phoebe and Joey because they really were so hilarious. And I may or may not have named my youngest child after Joey Tribbiani. No judging ok. But really – it’s kinda fun to watch Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox with their old faces too. And I love watching Rachel’s hair because you can always tell what year the show was in by her hair.
Anyway, here’s Matthew Perry at the conference talking about prescription drug use. Could he BE any cuter!?

I have been watching my DVD’s lately, Hubby bought me almost all of the Seasons last year since I find it harder and harder to find them on tv. My fave show of all time

I love Friends. Have been watching the reruns too and it makes me miss it. I was also a big fan of Studio 60! As for Matthew Perry, I’d take him over Brad Pitt any day

Big Friends fans here! I have all the seasons on dvd and I’ve had them for years. When I first moved in with my husband, I had to watch episodes before going to sleep. At first, hubby complained, but now he’s as hooked as I am and if we find a rerun on tv, we love to watch it together and it always makes us laugh.
As for Matthew Perry, love him no matter what! We also really liked him in The Whole 9 Yards and Fools Rush In (not that we named our daughter after the lead female in that one or anything :s)

I quote from Friends at least once a week. LOVED that show. And, whenever I get my hair coloured, I always ask for Jen Aniston “bronde.”
