So I was on Twitter last night checking out all the different celebrity twitter feeds and happened upon Nicole Richie’s. Now Nicole is the kind of girl that I would classify as a ‘mean girl’, or at least was one in her younger years. You know, the kind of girl that you didn’t want to get on her bad side because with one word she could ruin your social standing and bury your reputation. And she might just do that for fun. So I started reading and noticed an interesting exchange happening. It started with this;

Hmmmm, I thought that was kind of an interesting comment because I know that she and Jen Meyer (who is married to Tobey Maguire) used to be friends (and I know this because I’ve seen pap photos of the ladies lunching) and Sara Foster is the daughter of David Foster but I have no clue of the relationship there. So now I’m wondering if they’re having a fun ‘girlfriends’ type of exchange via twitter or if there’s something more happening, so I start clicking to find that Sara Foster (@Saramfoster) has tweeted the following;

Ouch. Still, not sure if this is a case of girlfriends being funny with each other or if there’s something else happening here. Because Nicole does strike me as the kind of girl who will call you names online but in a very Hollywood ‘I’m just being funny’ kind of way. So then Jen Maguire responds with this;

OK so now it’s looking like it might not be good natured joking but more like maybe a bit of a public mean girl fight happening! Like I said, I don’t know if this is girls joking around or something more, what do you think?
