Every morning when I sit down with my coffee I click on the photo agency site that I buy my pictures from to see what the celebs were up to the day before. This morning when I clicked on the site all I could see were pictures of celebs and their kids! It was like it was family weekend in Hollywood. Naturally I felt the need to share the pics with you all because celeb kids are super cute!
Katie Holmes was seen taking daughter Suri to the park in NYC, and of course she was carrying her. Again. Which still drives me nuts. And before you all accuse me of being the worst mother ever because I question why she has to carry her daughter who is fully capable of walking, maybe you need to ask why Katie Holmes insists on parading her daughter around the paparazzi when she clearly doesn’t want to be paraded around. If you think that Katie Holmes can’t manouever around NYC without the paprazzi seeing her you’re wrong. There is a method to every move Katie makes. So maybe don’t worry about my distaste for 6 year olds being carried around and ask why her parents insist on using her to gain the public’s favour.
Matthew McConaughey was spotted out with his pregnant wife Camila Alves – who still makes me ridiculously jealous with how fab she looks, and their kids Vida and Levi in NYC. Also – they just got a puppy. I’m not the only one who thinks that having two young children plus being pregnant with a third means that adding a puppy into the mix is a bit crazy, right? I didn’t think so.
It was also mom’s day out, with Gwen Stefani, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Hilary Duff all spotted out with their kids. Gwen took sons Zuma and Kingston shopping for Halloween costumes because she is clearly more organized than I am. That’s what October 27th is for after all. Then Buffy and her adorable daughter Charlotte were spotted on the way to ballet class and I’m not sure who looks cuter – mom or daughter. Mad Men star January Jones was also spotted out with her son Xander, who’s name always reminds me of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Hilary Duff brought Luca out for some shopping in his pajamas. It’s a pet peeve of mine – kids out in pj’s. I know, I know – he’s just a baby and comfort is key. I completely understand that this is my issue here people. I just could never do it. But OMG did you check out the size of the ring on her finger?! Wow, well done Hilary!
Not to be outdone reality star Scott Disick was out with his son Mason. I love that he looks annoyed that there are paparazzi taking his picture when he sells his children’s pictures to the tabloids and is only known to the public because he’s with a Kardashian. Who incidentally films their life for their reality television show. You can’t expect privacy when you put your life on display.
Then one of my favourite celeb moms, Jennifer Garner was spotted out with the increasingly adorable Seraphina. I love seeing Jen out with her kids because she looks like she’s always having so much fun with them.
So that’s what celeb parents and their kids were up to this weekend. I hope you had just as much fun!

This post made me laugh! What is with Katie Holmes carrying her kid? I have a 6 year old and 3 year old and I would only carry my 6 year old if he was critically injured and I can barely bring myself to (physically or mentally) carry my 3 year old. Put the kid down. How ridiculously good to Camila Alves look? It’s just not fair. Sadly, I do not find Matthew McConaughey remotely attractive (gasp!) so I always find them a bit mismatched but I’m sure I’m alone on that one. They do make cute kids! Jennifer Garner is my celebrity mom idol. I love that her jeans don’t always look perfect, her hair is almost always wet or up in a ponytail and her shirts sometimes don’t even fit properly. Welcome to my world. Does Reece Witherspoon rank up there with celebrity moms you love? She’s in my top 3.
