Well this might have been the worst kept secret in Hollywood, but Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck finally confirmed yesterday that they are, indeed, expecting their 3rd child. For the record, I called this one back in May when shots of Jennifer were released that showed the beginnings of a baby bump.
Baby bumps are tricky business in Hollywood – starlets are subjected incredible public scrutiny over their bodies. More than one actress who has taken a break from hitting the gym for a week is accused of having a baby bump when really they are rocking a size 0 instead of their typical 00.
It’s tricky business – this baby bump business. I don’t tend to speculate publicly on baby bumps too often mostly because I know what its like to be newly pregnant and I know what its like to not be a size 00 (hahahahahahaha – like I’ve ever seen a 00!) But back on May 25 I first saw some pictures of Jennifer Garner that – given the outfit she was wearing - seemed to hint at the slightest baby bump. Seems I was right:) (not like I’m bragging or anything).
Jennifer and Ben already have two adorable daugthers, 5 year old Violet and 2 year old Seraphina who I am sure are going to be pleased as punch to welcome a new little baby into the family. I’m really happy for this family because Jen and Ben really do make some super cute kids. But is Ben angling for any awards this Oscar season? Timing is just about perfect – no?
