Disney released a new 30 second spot for their upcoming movie ‘The Odd Life of Timothy Green‘ today. The movie stars Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton (who was super hot in Warrior) as a couple who can’t conceive. They decide to write down all the traits of what their dream child would have if they could actually have a baby and seal them in a box, then bury the box in their garden. They wake to find a young boy in their living room, like he ‘grew’ from the box of traits that they buried. You can check out the full trailer here.
Sounds very much like your typical feel good Disney movie that will no doubt be a bit of a tear jerker as well. The movie actually looks really cute and I like movies like this that I can take my kids too that aren’t the standard 3D animated blockbusters. They’re having a sneak preview of this movie during BlogHer which is a blogging conference I’m going to in NYC next month but I think I’m going to take a pass on it, only because I don’t want to sit and watch a movie when I can be out in NYC.
