The wait is over! It seems most celeb baby watchers have been waiting for Jessica Simpson to finally deliver her baby and today was the day! A birth notice was posted on the reality star’s official website this afternoon stating;
Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson. 9lbs, 13oz, 21 3/4 inches.
We are so grateful for all the love, support, and prayers we have received. This has been the greatest experience of our lives.
And so ends the longest pregnancy ever! Wow! That is one big baby too. Jessica reportedly had already opted for c-section which was probably a good idea given the size of little Maxwell. It’s rumoured that Jess and Eric will call her Maxi for short. Although I’m normally pretty anti- give a kid one name but call it another – I like Maxwell and Maxi. Maxwell is of course Eric’s middle name, while Drew is Jessica’s mom’s maiden name. I like it, I like it a lot.
Congrats to the happy couple! Now let’s hope that Jess doesn’t feel like she needs to lose that weight too quickly, because that’s not gonna happen!
