Joe Manganiello Talks Getting Physical And Werewolf Babies To Parade Magazine

Well you had me at ‘getting physical’! So I still haven’t watched the season premiere of True Blood yet because I was on holidays but I have pvr’d it and plan to watch it tonight, but in the meanwhile you can check out Rebecca’s wrap up here. We’ll compare notes once I’ve watched.

The sexiest werewolf around, Joe Manganiello, sat down and spoke to Parade Magazine about the prospect of a Sookie/Alcide pairing (I’m just in favour of any Alcide pairing that includes more naked Alcide) and a possible were baby. Here’s a few highlights;

A werewolf baby in the works?
“Well, I can’t really say anything on that but vampires can’t have babies on our show. So if [Paquin's pregnancy] was to be worked in, there is only one way to go with it at this point.”

On getting physical
“Hmm, what can I say? There will be interaction between Sookie and Alcide this season. I’m not going to say what that interaction is…[I get physical] in a lot of ways, not just fighting. If you’ve seen some of the trailer, than you can imagine [laughs]. There might be some lovin’ going on.”

More on Sookie and Alcide
“They’ve had bad timing. Either she had somebody or he did. They’re just waiting for the right moment and it hasn’t been the right moment. Alcide definitely feels love for Sookie. Absolutely. There have definitely been some things that have been done to damage that love but I think it’s still there and he still wants to protect her, to take care of her. And there is also a part of him that wishes he could leave it alone. Obviously, with what happened last season, he doesn’t know that Debbie’s dead and he doesn’t know that Sookie did it. So that creates a very, very complex web that has resulted in some really great writing and great scenes and resolutions. My favorite plot line of this year had to be that. There is some really great stuff coming your way as far as that goes. That is a big obstacle.”

You can read more of Joe’s interview on Parade.com.  And while we’re talking about Joe, let’s take another look at the red band trailer for Magic Mike:)  It seems like we should.
