Reporter Drew Magary did an interview Justin Bieber for the June issue of GQ Magazine and I cannot stress enough how much you need to click here and read the entire article. I mean, I will give you some excerpts that will make you roll your eyes but the article will really really make you all eye rolly. Here’s a bit of what you can read in the article;
Justin Bieber on partying:
“For me, it’s just like, I like to be in control of myself. I mean, I’ve had a beer, like, before…. But I never get out of control.”…on distrusting the music business:
“I mean, I keep my guard up a lot, because you know, you can’t trust anyone in this business. That’s what’s sad. You can’t trust anybody. I learned the hard way.”…on his catalog of songs:
“I’ve never made a bad song.”…on Kim Kardashian:
“People say she doesn’t do anything; she actually does do stuff…. She works hard.”Bieber’s producer, when asked if Bieber gets his feelings hurt while working on songs:
“He hurts feelings.”
Yes, Justin Bieber has never made a bad song everyone! He is clearly a genius and we all should bow down to his genius-ness. The best part of the article isn’t Justin’s comical answers but the reporter’s commentary on his interview process. I don’t know how GQ manages to get so many awesome interviews, because they definitely aren’t sugar coated. Reminds me of the interview that was done with Drake a few months ago, which was also eye-roll worthy.
Anyway, if Beiber’s quotes didn’t make you roll your eyes you really need to read the entire article. I have noticed lately how Justin has seemed to sway from his good old Canadian boy roots and become very much a product of Hollywood and this article basically reaffirms that. That boy says ‘swag’ way too much for his own good.
