Justin Bieber Totally Copies N’Sync With His ‘Boyfriend’ Video (VIDEO)

Justin Bieber released his video for his new single ‘Boyfriend’ last night and I’m not quite sure if it’s laughable or just downright awkward watching him try to be all ladies-manish on screen, but I do know that he totally ripped off N’Sync’s ‘Girlfriend’ video.

The teaser clips that Justin had been sending out turned out to be just that – a teaser.  The actual video includes The Biebs serenading some Selena Gomez lookalike who is probably the worst actress ever in the middle of some car rally surrounded by a bunch of dancers that all look about 10 years older than him.  Honestly, is it that hard to get a group of teenagers who can dance? I’m pretty sure Hollywood is crawling with them.  All those kids that Missy Elliott used to put in her videos are teens now – he totally could have used them.  So bad.  Anyway he proceeds to give the camera his very sexy look which includes licking his lips a lot more than I’m comfortable with and dipping his head while mumbling the lyrics toward the camera. Seriously can kids these days not enunciate?!!

Then he’s driving a car, making sure we all know that even though he’s wee he’s old enough to drive a car!!  And then he’s playing guitar and then there’s the dancing. Oh, the dancing.  Not even his fancy gold kicks could save that dancing.  I might be too old to appreciate wannabe sexy Biebs but this entire video made me a bit uncomfortable, and not in the good way.

Have a look and let me know what you think. Also – attached N’Sync’s ‘Girlfriend’ for comparison. What was with all the gang boys in that video?!

I’m confused as to why he ditched the original idea, its as if they said to themselves, ‘Well people are already saying we copied there song, so lets copy the video as well just for laughs!’ And not only that, it’s not even as good as the original, and this comes from someone who respects Justin Bieber’s talents. I’m just disappointed with artists and their lack of creativity these days.
