Justin Timberlake’s Wedding Cover

justin timberlake jessica biel wedding photo

Notice how I didn’t say ‘Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s Wedding Cover?’  Because this wedding really was all about Justin. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel got married last weekend in Italy and of course they sold the photos to People Magazine. I have no issues with that.  I also appreciate that the cover shot isn’t the same lame shit that we normally see when a celebrity couple gets married (remember this one?).  What I love though is that in Justin Timberlake’s world, everything has to be about Justin Timberlake.  Which is why Justin has to be the one to stand out on the cover of People. It’s not like he’s jumping for joy, it’s like he’s saying ‘Hey, look at me, just at me, don’t look at the girl in the dress, or at least look at her after you look at me!‘.

It gets better though when you read through the article.  So Jessica Biel is wearing a pink (yes, pink) Giambattista Valli Haute Coiffure gown and she goes to walk down the aisle – the part of a wedding where all eyes should be on the bride and the bride only – and he’s singing and playing guitar! “It was an original piece I wrote specifically for the evening and for her,”  SERIOUSLY! You can call this romantic, I call it a move by someone who wants all the attention on him.  I mean come on!  Think about it, instead of people ooh’ing and aah’ing over her dress and how lovely she looks, they’re now all looking at Justin who’s singing in his falsetto and playing the guitar.  Ugh.  He also ‘helped design’ his Tom Ford tux.  Of course he did.

Also, why is her dress pink?  I haven’t seen a pic of the full dress but I think it’s a bit much.  She looks lovely but a Pink wedding dress belongs on Barbie, not on a grown woman.   Thoughts?
