Katie Holmes Looks Tired

Of course she looks tired – she’s had a pretty full 3 weeks. Not only did she secretly plan out a divorce filing, file for divorce, settle her divorce all while maintaining her composure, but she’s also had to be super-mom in the process. That will tire anyone out. Because it’s not that Katie isn’t a good mom, but when you’re going up against Scientology and the super star machine that is Tom Cruise, you must have the public on your side. So Katie had to be in full on super doting mom mode for the past two weeks so that the blogs and the magazines and the entertainment sites could post pictures of her with Suri while Tom was away on location shooting yet another movie. Like I said, well played Katie Holmes.

Katie went out for a late night dinner in NY last night with a friend. She spent the day at Central Park Zoo with Suri. Her expression has been the same for the past two weeks. Peaceful, serene, and contained. She’s not giving anything away yet. She’s playing it cool knowing that she shouldn’t look too super excited to finally be free, because the church probably wouldn’t like that. But she’s not staying home either. She’s going out every day and every night because she can. And maybe it’s a bit of an ‘f-u’ to someone as well. She’s also probably exhausted but there were some brief glimpses yesterday while she was at the zoo with Suri where she really smiled. And she looks so happy, and relieved.
