Oh these pictures make me very very happy. Because as much as I love Game of Thrones, and as much as I love True Blood, deep down my heart belongs to Dexter. I have watched Dexter since season 1 and every year when it goes off the air I get a little depressed because it’s over and it takes so long before it comes back. And last season – I didn’t like it. I didn’t like it at all. And that makes me more sad because I’m one of those people that is very loyal to my shows but I need this season to be good, or I’m gone. Because after Season 4 with Jon Lithgow – I mean they set the bar so very, very high. And Julia Stiles and Colin Hanks – well they were not good.
This year the big bad (I assume) is played by Ray Stevenson who plays some kind of Eastern European mafia guy who comes to Miami to find out who killed an associate, and Jason Gedrick who stars as a strip club owner. Also joining the cast is Katia Winter (she stars on NCIS) who stars as a Russian stripper but it has also been rumoured that she’s a love interest for Dex and that she might actually stick around for next season as well. Which I take to mean we at least don’t have to worry about that super gross Deb/Dex love traingle, right?
The best part of Dexter is that it premiere’s always right around my birthday which is always my best birthday present ever.
