I’m not really a fan of Halloween. I have a hard time figuring out costumes for my 4 kids, much less worry about myself. In fact, for the first time in a long time, my husband and I actually dressed up to go to a costume party this weekend. Of course we dressed up as Dexter and Debra Morgan from my favourite show Dexter. It was either that or Edward and Bella (pretty sure we pulled off Dexter and Deb better than we would have the vampires).
I’ve gathered some of my favourite dressed up celebrities to help give you and your family some great costume ideas;
If there was one celebrity who always manages to impress on Halloween, it’s Heidi Klum, and last year she outdid even herself with this human body costume. Heidi recently revealed that of all her costumes, this one was her fave.
I love when families dress up for Halloween, and it might be the one time of year when I think it’s ok for parents to co-ordinate with their children! How great is Alyson Hannigan, her husband Alexis Denisof and daughter Satyana as Raggedy Ann and Andy and the cutest pumpkin ever? And former Bachelor star Melissa Rycroft and husband Tye Strickland with daughter Ava as Fred, Wilma and Pebbles Flintsone! I love Ali Larter and son Theo’s bumblebee outfits. I think I might have a heart attack if I saw Liev Schrieber walking down the street dressed as the Grim Reaper! Fortunately wife Naomi Watts lightened things up a bit with her clown costume:)
Have a baby bump to hide this Halloween? You can do like Jennifer Garner last year and cover it up with a cute witch costume.
Jessica Alba’s daughter Honor made a super cute Jasmine last year, while Nicole Richie and Joel Madden got in the spirit to take Sparrow trick or treating!
Looking for a sexy costume for yourself? Fergie sexed up the toddlers and tiara’s look (ew) while Kim Kardashian was super hot last year as Poison Ivy. Gwen Stefani did the classic Disney Princess and rocked her Cinderella look while new mom Hilary Duff looked sexy and creepy in her take on a skeleton.
Celebrity couples always look great when they coordinate their looks. I love Hilary Duff and Mike C0mrie rocking the bank robber look last year. Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough looked as Bonnie and Clyde this past weekend, while Fergie and Josh Duhamel went as Hollywood staple Angelyne and Dennis Woodruff, a independent film maker who makes home movies starring himself. Christina Aguilera always gets into the Halloween spirit and this year she and boyfriend Matt Rutler dressed up as a Queen and a Knight.
