I’m not sure exactly why she’s coming forward with this now or why Nicole Scherzinger thinks that the public didn’t actually know this, but the singer had decided to ‘reveal’ in an upcoming VH1 Behind The Scenes that she sang %95 of the Pussycat Dolls songs. Um, to be honest I would have given her %100. Have you ever heard a Pussycat Dolls song or seen a video?! Pretty sure the rest of the ‘Dolls’ were just there to dance and look sexy. Is this really a revelation to anyone?
I’m not sure if Nicole is pissed because her solo career fizzled so she’s trying to drum up some publicity by now ‘announcing’ what everyone already knew or if she just wants to be fully credited with the Pussycat Dolls success. Either way it just sounds like sour grapes to me. Does anyone really think that she wasn’t the one doing all the singing?
US Weekly posted this video of Nicole talking about how she deserves all the credit for the Pussycat Dolls success and no one else. She says;
“I hope I don’t get in trouble for the stuff that I say but I’ll never forget I finished the album, PCD, and Ron and I brought the girls into the studio and we played it for them. It was the first time they’d ever heard the music.”
“Do you understand what I’m saying? We played the album for the Pussycat Dolls. It was the first time they’d ever heard the songs.”
Again, is anyone surprised by this?
