I don’t pretend to be someone who can fully appreciate great art. I mean after all I loved Fifty Shades of Grey and watch Hart of Dixie. I do not have a sophisticated palate if you know what I mean. So after hearing that Transformers actor Shia LaBeouf went full frontal naked for Iclandic music group Sigur Rós’ new music video “Fjögur Píanó” I thought that clearly some actors do nudity for the sake of art and I might not get it but it is what it is.
Well I don’t know what this is but all I know is it’s fu*@ing weird and I really don’t get the need for Shia to be totally hanging out while looking like a crack whore. Yeah yeah, I don’t get art. To be honest I only watched about the first two minutes before I was completely confused and turned it off. A piece of me thinks that Shia has gone a little ‘Joaquin Phoenix’ on us and is trying to make himself as weird and unattractive as possible and all of a sudden Casey Affleck is going to jump out and say ‘surprise, just make a mock-umentary’! Unfortunately I don’t think that’s the case here.
Go on, watch it. If you get passed 3 minutes you might be my hero. Oh, and I think it goes without saying that the video is NSFW.
