You know when they announced that Jeremy Renner would be taking over from Matt Damon in this upcoming ‘Bourne’ movie I was a bit sceptical – mostly because I love Matt Damon. And if Matt Damon can make a movie where Julia Styles is the female lead good than you know he’s something special. But after watching the initial teaser trailer for ‘The Bourne Legacy’ and now this first official trailer that was released today by Universal I think Renner will do the job just fine. Doesn’t hurt that at least Damon’s picture makes a cameo too. And there’s a lot of talk of Bourne in this movie, meaning that they haven’t pretended that Jason Bourne isn’t the basis of these movies, just that ‘There Was Never Just One’. I also wonder if that means that we might one day see a Damon/Renner Bourne movie. Because I would be all good with that.
