I have never heard of this movie before – 10 Years – starring Channing Tatum, his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Justin Long, Christopher Pratt and Kate Mara, but it looks exactly like my type of movie. Especially since it involves high school. Ask my husband and he’ll tell you that all it takes to hook me into anything is high school, cheerleaders and a show choir (he’ll also say vampires but I will dispute that since Buffy ended a long time ago). It’s actually not that simple, but it’s a good start. So basically ’10 years’ tells the story of a group of people who reunite for their 10 year high school reunion and from what I can see from the trailer it looks pretty much how most 10 year reunions would go. Watching it also made me realize that I graduated from high school 21 years ago. And now I feel old.
Also, having not been a Channing Tatum fan until watching him in Magic Mike I must say he really does have great on screen appeal. Even when he’s fully clothed. And I think I have a bit of a girl crush on his wife because she really is gorgeous.
