Tonight’s episode of Glee has been dubbed ‘Britney 2.0′ which makes me happy because I love Britney and I loved the season premiere. Late last week Fox released one of their Britney numbers with Brittany singing ‘Hold it Against Me’ with her fellow cheerleaders and I was less than impressed. I mean, I have no idea why they chose that song to sing to and the clip gives us no clue as to the context of why they’re singing that song. And I really hate those cheerleader uniforms too. So needless to say it made me a bit sceptical about tonight’s ep which sucks because it’s only the second episode of the season.
Today Fox released another number – this time we see Rachel Berry trying to convince her dance teacher that she really can be sexy by singing Britney’s ‘Oops I Did It Again’. Personally I think Lea Michele tries too hard but she does sound a lot like Brit. It makes me think that maybe tonight’s episode might actually be worth watching.
