How much do you love this picture? Like all of them are so excited and so happy and loving the camera and Posh is still trying not to smile. But I see it there, don’t you? Posh totally had a blast tonight! Did you watch? Did you love it? I watched it live and wouldn’t leave my television waiting for The Spice Girls to finally take the stage during the closing ceremony and it was worth every minute. There was that one moment though when my 10 year old daughter asked me what a Spice Girl was. I managed to avoid disowning her and made the conscious decision that I must concentrate more on her Girl Power education.
Anyway the Spices arrived in their London taxi’s and belted out ‘Wannabe’ with all of them looking like they were having the time of their lives – even Posh before breaking into ‘Spice up Your Life‘! I mean how great do they all look?! I’m not going to lie, there was a point where I was worried that one of them was going to fall off the roof of one of those cars! I loved everything about the closing ceremony but The Spice Girls were definitely my highlight. If you missed their performance you can check it out below. I’ve also attached all the twit pics that Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Mel C, Mel B and Emma Bunton were posting throughout the night. Looks like at one point Liam Gallagher was subbing in for Posh. Something tells me that might be a more accurate substitution than it looks. God I miss my youth sometimes.
