There’s been a lot of buzz around this movie, although I think a lot of that is due to the fact that Anne Hathaway chopped off all her hair to play the role of Fantine, but today we get a first glimpse at the big screen adaptation of Les Misérables.
I still don’t know what to think after watching the trailer except that Anne Hathaway has a powerful voice that I want to hear more of. The teaser trailer is set to Anne singing ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ and I have a feeling that even if the movie on the whole isn’t good, she will be spectacular. You have to admire a woman who would basically shave off all her hair for a role in a movie. She also fully embraced Fantine’s physical transformation too, with rumours that she basically limited herself to 2 apples and a shake a day to rapidly lose the weight necessary to play Fantine believably.
