I can’t wait until Sunday for the season finale of Game of Thrones, but yet I don’t want it to come because it’s the season finale and that means another full year until the next season. Why must we wait so long? Is it the wait that makes it all the better? Maybe.
It’s funny how for the entire first season and a lot of the second season I really liked Theon Greyjoy, but now I just hope someone punches him right in the face then chops off his head. I dislike him almost as much as I dislike Joffrey Baratheon, which is a lot. But fortunately for me people like Theon tend to get what’s coming to them in the world of Game of Thrones. Joffrey however – I think Sansa said it best last week when she said that ‘Joffrey will come back, the worst ones always do’. Yes, I think we’ll have to deal with that little puke for a while still.
But how much do you love Tywin now. If anyone will put Joffrey in his place it will be Tywin and I can’t wait for that to happen. I’m also a little worried about the lack of Tyrion in this trailer especially given how last episode ended. But he can’t be dead, right? Because he’s the best part of the show!
I’m already dreading the year hiatus between this season and next, with only the comfort of True Blood starting soon to keep me from going into full on withdrawl. And am I the only one totally over Khaleesi this year? I miss Khal Drogo so much – she’s just so boring right now. She and Jorah need to get it on soon. The entire Jaime Lannister/Brienne story is not so enjoyable either, but at least we get more Robb Stark and Jon Snow in this episode.
I’m also confused about Sansa talking to Littlefinger – does that mean she didn’t leave with The Hound? So many questions – I can’t wait until Sunday.
