What Will You See This Weekend?

Savages opens in theatres today. It stars Blake Lively, Taylor Kitsch, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, John Travolta, Salma Hayek and Benicio del Toro. Basically it’s about 3 young people who piss off the wrong Mexican drug cartel. It’s based on the novel by Don Winslow (which I put on my hot summer beach reads). I read the book in 1 day and I really want to see the movie. I have no kids tonight which means that Lino and I can hit the theatres, but Ted is also out and I have a feeling we might be fighting about what to see. The one thing I have in my favour is that Lino is hooked on the song that they play in the commercials for Savages (it’s ‘Till I Collapse by Eminem featuring Nate Dogg if you’re interested) so that might help me get my way. What are you going to see this weekend?

Here are some pictures of the cast at both the LA and NYC premiere’s of the film. How hot does Blake look in that black dress? But how can Taylor Kitsch look so friggin’ hot in the trailers for this movie and look like this in pictures? It’s like he doesn’t know how to smile. I don’t get it.

Also, just for fun, this might be one of my fave pictures of John Travolta ever. Because, well, look at it.
